Geisha Coffee Tour…the history, the process, the price!
Visiting Panama isn’t complete without some Geisha Coffee
You can not say that you experienced Panama without indulging in the local products like drinking one of the world’s best coffees, Geisha Coffee.
On this coffee tour with Goran, we sipped the best Panamanian coffee and one of the world’s most expensive, Geisha Coffee.
This was my second tour with Goran and once again he truly delivered a unique and one of a kind experience.
Goran shared so many interesting facts about the history of coffee in Panama, its production process, how to have the best brew and of course why Geisha Coffee is so elite that it deserves the price tag it has earned.
Our first stop was a coffee house where we enjoyed two different kinds of processed beans.
Natural and Honey!
Ya I had no idea what that meant at all. During this tasting Goran explained the history and how far Panama has come in the coffee scene.
For a country that is relatively new on the coffee scene they really have created a niche product and world class name for themselves.
At our second stop, a coffee house and specialty coffee roaster named Paddle Coffee, we enjoyed the infamous and elite Geisha Coffee.
Goran further explained that Panama Geisha coffee is brewed from the finest variety of Arabica beans. The rich soil from Volcan Baru and the altitude coupled with the impeccable climate nestled in a valley protected by the mountains has created a luxury-statement coffee so coveted that it has been known to sell for over $1000/lb.

I highly recommend Goran as a guide…I am super impressed with how much knowledge Goran has on the subject. He is definitely well informed and is very passionate about coffee.
