Accidental Adult.

Collector of Stories.

Professional Tourist.

I’m just a girl with an untamed spirit, a passport that’s seen more action than my vacuum cleaner, and opinions that occasionally arrive before my filter does.

I’ve spent much of my life chasing experiences over things. Sometimes that meant hopping on a plane to another country. Sometimes it meant saying “yes” to something that scared me. And sometimes it meant ordering the questionable local dish because, well… it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Life is too short for boring stories.

I am a proud beer snob. Craft, not crap. It’s a philosophy, a lifestyle, and occasionally a game I’m more than happy to teach. I enjoy cigars, have a completely unreasonable relationship with white chocolate, deeply dislike rain, and firmly believe nearly every problem can be improved with good food. If there’s a cooking challenge on the table, I’m in.

Travel has been woven into my DNA for as long as I can remember. I’ve often traveled solo, starting long before most parents would even consider the idea. At fifteen, I spent a summer exploring Mexico with a couple of friends and no parents in sight. In high school, I lived and studied in Japan, later returning to work there after graduation. By the time I was nineteen, I’d collected enough stories, life lessons, and cultural experiences to fill several lifetimes.

The truth is, none of that would have happened without my parents.

They worked incredibly hard to give me opportunities that changed the course of my life. They taught me to be curious, independent, open-minded, and kind. They showed me that the world is far bigger and far more interesting than the place where you start.

This website is a collection of adventures, mistakes, triumphs, unexpected discoveries, and the occasional travel disaster. It’s about the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, the lessons I’ve learned, and all the reasons I believe that saying “yes” to an adventure is almost always worth it.

Because in the end, whether it’s a new country, a strange meal, a spontaneous road trip, or a leap into the unknown…

It was worth it.
