Moulin Rouge, The Broadway Musical

If ever there was something you should 100% spend money on, that would be a Broadway Show, and more specifically THIS ONE! Holy crap bag, my cheeks hurt with a passion from smiling the entire show. It might be my most favourite artistic performance I have seen to date.

hahaha, yes that is exactly what I meant to say. See those seats right up against the stage? See how the stage wraps around behind them? Yeah, those are the Can Can seats and that is where we were sitting.

Once the show starts the stage closes in behind you and it happens all around you. It was intense and invigorating and to have such a close up view of these talented artists leaving everything they have on stage….such a pleasure.

Being so close to the stage, you can feel it all…the breeze of the dancers twirling around you, the whip of the air at your ear when a leg comes flying by your face, the spray of the enunciated words…

I wouldn’t change a thing, It Was Worth It a million times over. In fact, I would even pay more for these tickets now that I know just how amazing this show was.

I am sure most people know the story…it’s a theatrical celebration of truth, beauty, freedom and love.

Enter a world of splendor and romance, of glitz, grandeur and glory! A world where Bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows and revel in electrifying enchantment.  This film comes to life onstage, remixed in a musical mash-up extravaganza.

As they say…

Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical; it is a state of mind.
