Wreath Making with FleuRich is Soul Therapy

First and foremost, I say “Make Magic” all the time and when I was looking up FleuRich’s website, so does she. AND then the next thing that was clearly a sign that she was supposed to be introduced into my life is I was snooping around in her online shop and she sells Palo Santo Cedar Sticks which is an incredible act of divine synchronicity BECAUSE in my pottery class I literally just made a little clay pot to burn these Palo Santo Cedar sticks but I had no idea where I could buy them from yet. It was Fated from the beginning.

I love being creative, that’s not to say that I am any good at it. But I suppose you could say that I love doing it poorly nonetheless. buwahahaha. I am just kidding,  I am mildly proud of everything I create, the good, the bad, the WTF moments…every bit of it. But this workshop was a blast and it all started with the energy of the instructor. Man Alive did I love her presence. 

About the Workshop

Held in Luxury

The workshop was held in the upstairs of the Lakehouse Home Store in downtown Kelowna. I now have a love hate relationship with this establishment because I didn’t know it was there and now I do and that’s trouble. Luckily the store itself was closed when we arrived for the workshop but we had to walk through the store to get to the upstairs Staging Kitchen Workshop space where the store also hosts numerous cooking class (yup, next on my to do list). Now I know what this store is all about and I am clearly going back during SHOPPING HOURS.

When we arrived at the venue, we were presented with a lovely glass of wine to enjoy during the workshop. The tables were all set up with individual stations and they were laid out to perfection and it created inspiration from the very first second. 

Laurence was there to great you and immediately her smile was like a massive hug from an old friend. She loves what she does and you can feel that vibrate in the air. She instructed us step by step on the journey to creating our seasonal wreaths, providing constant encouragement. 

Meanwhile, the Lakehouse was carting in bit sized delicious snacks that I couldn’t wait to indulge in. 

The workshop was just over 2 hours and at the end I now have this gorgeous wreath hanging on my door.  It Was Totally Worth It!
