Vancouver is a major city in western Canada, located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. Located on the Pacific Ocean, sheltered from Vancouver Island, this city is surrounded by an oasis of nature. Sitting below the mountains, next to the ocean and amidst a rain forest it’s sounds like heaven.
Everyone jokes and says, you can ski, golf and swim in the same day and it’s very very true. With Whistler just 2 hour drive and 3 local ski mountains in the city limits, endless lakes to swim in, ocean to kayak in, plenty of mountains to hike. It really is an addictive dreamy destination.
Having lived there for 20 years, I milked it for everything she has. I always say that if it weren’t for the cost of living in this city it would be the best place on earth to live.
My favourite things about Vancouver is the endless supply of things to do, beer culture, nature at your doorsteps, safe and beautiful.
Dear Vancouver, I will never be over you.

When lemons make margaritas! How the worst news is actually the best. 8 hours worth of phone calls and hold times and it turns out that the world has a plan for me and I am loving its plan…hiccups and bumps included.

I really truly highly encourage locals to indulge in these tours, not only does it support local businesses but it is also a COVID friendly social activity. The tours are all outside, you get fresh air and exercise and enrich your knowledge of local history. Win Win!
I blame my parents
What if our brains required activation? Instead of the constant activate state that it is. What I mean is that we don’t actually have to turn it on and off. If we had to actually switch it on in the morning and turn it off at night…would we still experience the auto pilot state?
